Production process of Black Seamless Nipple:

1、Raw material inspection

Strictly inspect the purchased black seamless pipes,check whether their specifications and wall thickness are consistent with the design requirements,and use ultrasonic flaw detectors to detect any defects inside the pipes.

Verify the quality certification documents of the pipes,including material reports,flaw detection reports,etc.,to ensure that the raw material quality is qualified.All unqualified raw materials shall be returned and prohibited from being put into production.

2、Cutting and cutting materials

Select appropriate cutting equipment based on the size requirements of the pipe joint,such as high-precision metal sawing machines or laser cutting machines.Set the equipment parameters and cutting length based on the size of the pipe joint.

Secure the black seamless pipe firmly onto the cutting equipment and start the equipment to begin cutting.Ensure that the cutting surface is flat and smooth,without obvious burrs or slanted edges during cutting.After cutting,clean the cutting surface with a polishing tool to remove burrs.

Perform dimensional inspection on the cut pipe sections to ensure that the length tolerance is controlled within the specified range(generally±0.5mm).

3、Forming processing(bending,expanding,etc.,depending on the type of joint)

If bending is required,choose the appropriate bending equipment,such as a hydraulic bending machine,based on the bending angle and radius requirements of the pipe joint.Adjust equipment parameters,conduct trial bending,check the quality of the bent pipe,and ensure that there are no defects such as wrinkles or cracks at the bending point.

If expansion is required,use specialized expansion tools such as an expansion machine.Adjust the expansion size according to the specifications of the pipe joint to ensure the dimensional accuracy and surface quality of the expansion part.

4、Thread processing

Clamp the cut or formed pipe sections onto threading equipment such as lathes and threading machines.

Select the appropriate thread cutting tool and machining parameters based on the thread specifications of the pipe joint.

Start the equipment for thread machining,closely monitor the accuracy of thread depth,pitch,and profile angle during machining.

After processing,use a thread gauge to inspect the threads to ensure they meet the standard requirements.For unqualified threads,rework them in a timely manner.

5、Welding(if there is a welding process)

For pipe joint components that require welding,prepare for welding first.Clean the welding area of oil stains,rust,and other impurities to expose the metallic luster.

Select the appropriate welding method,such as argon arc welding,based on the material and thickness of the black seamless pipe,and choose matching welding materials.

Adjust welding equipment parameters,such as welding current,voltage,welding speed,etc.Conduct trial welding,check the welding quality,and ensure that the weld seam is well formed without defects such as pores,cracks,slag inclusions,etc.

During formal welding,strictly follow the welding process specifications to ensure welding quality.After welding is completed,the weld seam should be visually inspected and non-destructive testing(such as ultrasonic testing,radiographic testing,etc.)should be performed if necessary.

6、Surface treatment

Using chemical cleaning or mechanical polishing to remove impurities such as oil stains and oxide scales on the surface of pipe joints,achieving a certain level of cleanliness on the surface.

According to customer requirements,the surface of the pipe joint can be treated with blackening to increase its corrosion resistance and aesthetics.Control the process parameters of blackening treatment,such as solution concentration,treatment time,etc.

7、Quality inspection

Appearance inspection:Check the appearance of the pipe joint,which should be smooth and free of obvious scratches,dents,deformations,and other defects.

Dimensional inspection:Use measuring tools(such as calipers,micrometers,etc.)to measure the key dimensions of pipe joints,ensuring that the dimensions meet the design requirements.

Performance testing:Conduct pressure testing,sealing testing,etc.on pipe joints to ensure that their performance meets the requirements for use.The test pressure for pressure testing is determined according to the product's usage requirements,and the pressure is maintained for a certain period of time(usually 3-5 minutes)to check for any leakage.

Identify and isolate products that fail inspection,analyze the reasons,and carry out rework or scrapping.

8、Packaging and storage

Clean the Black Seamless Nipples that have passed inspection to remove dust and debris from the surface.

Select appropriate packaging materials(such as plastic bags,paper boxes,wooden boxes,etc.)for packaging based on the characteristics of the product and customer requirements.Indicate product name,specifications,quantity,production date,manufacturer and other information on the packaging.

Transport the packaged products to the warehouse,store them in the designated area and manner,and take measures to prevent moisture and rust.
