Several common problems in the use of stainless steel joints

With the continuous development of stainless steel joint technology and enterprises, stainless steel joints have been widely used. Stainless steel joints have significant advantages in terms of corrosion resistance. It is recommended to use stainless steel materials in the petrochemical, aerospace, and nuclear power industries. Below are several common problems that occur in the use of stainless steel joints.

Stainless steel joint is a type of pipe fitting. It is made of stainless steel, so it is called stainless steel pipe fittings. Including: stainless steel elbows, stainless steel tees, stainless steel tees, stainless steel reducers, stainless steel pipe caps, etc. Pipe fittings can be divided into socket stainless steel fittings, threaded stainless steel fittings, flange stainless steel fittings, and welded stainless steel fittings according to the connection method. Stainless steel elbows are used at the turning points of the pipe fittings; Flanges are components used for interconnecting pipelines, connected to pipe ends, and stainless steel tees are used at the intersection of three pipes; Stainless steel four-way pipes are used at the intersection of the four pipes; Stainless steel variable diameter pipes are used to connect two pipes of different diameters.

Common problems with stainless steel joints in use:

1. Stainless steel hydraulic joints are prone to common faults such as detachment and leakage after continuous use for a period of time. Imported stainless steel joints of the same series of products will present many similar problems.

2. Stainless steel quick connectors should not be used to connect products other than quick connectors that may have problems, such as metal powder or dust infiltration, as this may cause the connector to malfunction or leak. The hose should be firmly inserted into the bottom of the socket and secured with a hose strap or nut.

Before using stainless steel quick couplings, it is necessary to check for details such as leaks, cracks, and gaps. If the above problems occur, immediately stop using and switch to a new, problem free connector. Before connecting, please ensure that the air gun valve is closed to prevent danger.
